It doesn't use the last cylinder to store data, so it is a 711K device. 80 cylinders are formatted though, and I could only get it to work with standard DD diskettes (no HD diskettes). A product will be announced in comp.newprod soon that will read/write cpio (or tar) format archives under MSDOS, using an AT-type 1.2Meg drive, so that the archive (possibly spanning multiple floppies) is compatible with the 3B2's floppy drive/controller/format.
