Yes, if you formatt a disk when your disk is out of alignment, your drive will
read and write to it fine.  I have version 1.x I'm not sure which.  I'm still
conquering (sp?) the Textile House, so maybe I haven't run into the bug, but
I'm sure a bug that big would be caught (knowing SSI, maybe not).

I just got the AD&D Dungeon Master's Assistant.  It's pretty useful but it's
quite slow.
