What I have is an 8 Mhz xt clone that I am getting ready to add a second hard drive to . The original drive is an ST238 original version. This one came out before the ST238R came out. I was wandering what the chances of using an RLL controler on this drive and it working reliable are. If I can do it I will probably put in a ST238R and RLL controller and make the old drive the second drive in the system. I would like to know if I do this will the old drive not work for RLL and die or what the results may be. As I said before, please address all replies to me by email at one of the below address brmorrow@uokmax.UUCP brmorrow@aardvark.ucs.uoknor.edu ausbam@uokmvsa (bitnet) 75166.3001 (compuserve) ps: Thank you in advance for the help.
