I am looking into purchasing three IBM compatible portables for my
project group.  Any personal experience with various models would
be appreciated.  We will be doing numerically intensive computing, so
a coprocessor will be standard, as will a modem.  Weight really not
an issue, since we don't take plane trips.  However, these will be
transported back and forth from home.  Machines we've seriously looked
at are the Zenith supersport 286, Compaq SLT/286 and Compaq 386 portable.
