Message-ID: <6300001@hplsla.HP.COM> Date: 1 Feb 89 07:25:56 GMT Organization: HP Lake Stevens, WA Lines: 15 I've got a AT 386 machine with INTEL's 80386 B1 stepping. This chip has a design defect that causes the CPU to hang whin DMA/paging/coprocessor (80387) accesses are occurring. Now, I'm not one to bitch about vendor problems; but, should I have to buy a D-step part to get my system to function? I think INTEL should supply the fix! Why should I pay for INTEL's bug... _________ Jeff Harrell 32612 6th Ave, SW Federal Way, WA 98023
