In a recent message someone suggested that instead of adding the 68020 + 68851 version of virtual one could, for approximately the same price, get a Dove MaraThon 030 accelerator and the 68030 version of Virtual. Now a few questions: 1. Is the MaraThon 030 + 030 version of Virtual compatible? 2. What's the "best" version of the MaraThon? They come in 20Mhz, 25Mhz, and 30 Mhz versions. Apparently, they use the motherboard memory w/o a fast on-board cache memory, so the NuBus 10Mhz clock rate is a big limitation. In particular, has anyone run any standard benchmark programs (e.g. dhrystone). [Given the NuBus, is the 20Mhz version at all faster than the Mac II's 020?] 3. What's the phone number of the company selling Virtual?
