If so, it would be much more accessable. >(Cheaper..) I got the sales literature from Connectix yesterday; we're expecting the actual product next week. In the fine print, their letter says, "The software-only version currently being released is not designed for use on the Mac IIx." They plainly intend on doing a 68030 version, but it's not soup yet. BTW, show prices were $495 for software + 68851 or $259 for software only. Too late now! Regular prices (after 1/22/89) are $695 and $295. Hints about future releases: "Can VIRTUAL use the extra memory installed on an expansion board? Not in this release..." "I have 2 hard drives. Can I move VIRTUAL off my boot drive? Not with this release, however allowing virtual memory storage on volumes other than the start-up drive is one of the planned upgrades." Disclaimer: I have no connection with these folks other than as a customer eagerly awaiting shipment.
