Lines: 20 Confession: I don't have a copy of IM 5 Problem: I want to change the standard chicago 12 font to be something else, ie I want the menu bar etc in a different font. Solution: I have created (actually altered) another font and coerced the FONT & FOND resources so that the machine (Font/DA mover) believes that it is Chicago 12. I have installed this in a system file, where it appears happily at the bottom of the screen when chicago 12 is selected. Problem: When this system file becomes the running system file on my SE, the chicago 12 font is the REAL chicago 12. If I open up Font/DA mover on the file, Chicago 12 has reverted, but when I run another system, it changes back. Question: So, is Chicago 12 in the ROMS of an SE and if so, how do I convince the machine to use a different font (or indeed the installed chicago 12 font) in the system file ?
