Lines: 17 I currently have system 6.0.2 running on my Mac SE. I also have Suitcase II. When I go into Suitcase II and look at the sound files available, they show: Simple Beep, Monkey, Boing, and Clink-Clank. These are the same as when I go into my control panel and go to the "Sound" panel. When I go into my Sound panel and test simple beep, it has the classic, "bright" beep sound of the Mac. HOWEVER, when I play the "simple beep" from the Suitcase II sound file I get a nicer, softer beep. I want to put this new "soft beep" in as my default system beep, but nothing I do (including renaming the beep sound in Suitcase II and re-booting) changes my System's beep sound! What am I doing wrong? Do I need some sort of sound moving application to change the system sound? Thanks for any help that you can provide. Jim Collymore
