Typing Shift-Delete is how you send the BREAK signal in Red Ryder. I'm sure this is documented in the manual (I don't remember having to hunt for it, so I must have read it). Apparently, your terminal concentrator uses BREAK as the signal to return to the CLI. I don't remember whether there's a way to disable this feature, though. Look in the customization menus to see.
