According to the official "United States Macintosh System Software 6.0.3 Change History" released the day before Christmas by Apple: "The United States Macintosh System Software 6.0.2 is primarily a maintenance release and a bug fix for the Apple File Exchange. In addition it provides a hook to support 32 Bit Color QuickDraw, and fixes problems in the AppleTalk Manager and the Time Manager. This System file will be released to support a future Macintosh." -- In that no installer scripts were issued with 6.0.3, this should NOT be interpreted as a general release. It's for developers to make sure their software works with 32-bit ("clean") QuickDraw. This doesn't offer new functionality, it just offers compatibility with the new class of machines. "The installed base does not need to upgrade to System 6.0.3." - Steve Mann, System Software Evangelist; Cover Letter to Developers Hope this helps. -- +-------------------+-jackiw@cs.swarthmore.edu / !rutgers!bpa!swatsun!jackiw-+ | nicholas jackiw | jackiw%campus.swarthmore.edu@swarthmr.bitnet | +-------------------+-VGP/MathDept/Swarthmore College, Swarthmore, PA 19081--+ "Big tough man.
