I have bad problems with RR and vi, also.  The two problems are:
1) I cannot get tabs to work correctly.  If I set RR's tabs to space
   properly while inputting (that is, space 8), I get an off-by-one
   error when I move along the already-entered line using the space bar.
2) At the last character on a line, I have problems.  Sometimes, if I move
   to column 80, then backwards, it gets confused.  Other times it just
   gets screwed up on long lines.
