Currently there is no such group, there is a Internet mailing list
called info-alliant (at antares.mcs.anl.gov I think (not quite sure
about that)).

Yes and no, on the mailing-list there is practically no traffic
(less than 1 letter / week), so the motivation to go thru the
whole voting process is rather small (Patrik Eschle, eschle@forty2.UUCP
was thinking about it, but I think I scared him off :-)). What we could
do is create a eunet group, which might be slightly easier.

BTW: there are three FX/8(0)'s in Zuerich (including this machine) and
     one (used to be a FX/1, don't know what it is currently) machine
     in Geneva.
