I am using exactly the same setup with no trouble at all.  I have seen this
problem before, however, from a fellow that attempted to establish a UUCP
connection with me.  Mail would be sent fine, but files would fail after a
timeout.  He was not using HDB, but WAS I believe using a trailblazer.  At
that time I was not.
