The driver dithers similarly to the screen drivers for EGA and VGA.  Why?
I dunno, for consistency I suppose.  I would like to get at the PURE colors
on the paintjet, and on the EGA/VGA - but windows only uses the bright solids.

It is in the MS-DOS Executive ABOUT box for Windows 2.1  It returns 
conventional, Expanded, and Disk Space, and even returns how much erxpanded
the disk cache is using.
