As far as I know tje answers to all your questions are YES or CONFORMANT.
At least that is our intention.  There may be bugs -- cannot guarantee that
nothig is broken.  As we've been pretty intimately involved with X and
with teh Xt toolkit we have an interest in being compatible with it.
