I made G++ 1.32 on a Sun3, and did not notice rms's new inline policy for the Sun4 in GCC 1.32. I have some new code which is tested on the Sun4 which permits once again these functions to go inline. It will be in the next release. Since the Sun4 is one of my main machines, I can't live with this either! Michael
