With gcc version 1.32 (installed with tm-sparc.h and sparc.md) on a
Sun 4 running under SunOS 4.0, I have been unable to compile even
the simplest program with the command line:

	gcc -O -p -c main.c

main.c consists of:	main() {}

and gcc reports:	gcc: Program cc1 got fatal signal 6.

Please reply to nfs@princeton.edu.  I will be happy to provide 
additional information if necessary.
