there's now an nntp link from mailrus to jarvis.csri.toronto.edu.
Just watching the debug output now -- it looks quite speedy.
pings are in the 200-300 ms range, and jarvis is running C news.

Anyone out there watching news paths (Joe?) could tell me what
you see.
