Only for cold water.

Be careful not to do something stupid and illegal here :-)

A hobby project involving automatic residential water valves can easily
turn into a project of filling the whole house with hot or cold
water, at or without a push on a button.

Have fun and don't come home too late.
Don't get yourself in hot water, either.
