How does one detonate Plastic explosives, and with what kind of %> detonation system? Blasting caps are sized, but I don't know whether %you need a bigger or smaller one for C-4 than for, say, TNT. I have used a unit called an "accelorator" for detonating plastic explosive. This unit is a hollow cylinder which houses a blasting cap ( regular size ) within. The unit is then embedded in the plastic. Use of such a unit promises a thorough explosion. --
