Several people have talked about the relative striking power of 60's tanks
against 80's armor, and vice versa.  It seems to me that the concussion from 
a round fired from a Sherman hitting a M1A in the frontal armor would be LOUD.

Would the M1A crew still be fit to operate the M1A after a hit like that?  I've
never heard the sound effects of glancing or underpowered rounds on armor crew.
