Instead of RISC, how about RCC: Reduced Complexity Computers I have seen this discussed and coined in some of the analyst papers like Gantner Group's (I think) discussion of current 'RISC' computers. I like this term and think it is both easier to grasp and a better expression of the current successful implementations.
