Rather than send individual mail to all the people who asked if
I found anything, I'll just tell everybody that I have not found
a freeware version.

A couple of people told me they would port it if they could find source.
Source is available from rtsg.lbl.gov by anonymous FTP.  Source for
a diff that should work for it has been written by the gnu-people; it
is available from many places, canonically prep.ai.mit.edu.
