Two things, though: (1) Ultrix 1.2 was based on a very late 4.2bsd; Berkeley has released two systems since then -- 4.3 and 4.3-tahoe; you should grab the latest from Berkeley to see if this has been fixed. (2) The Ultrix source license probably specifies that "thou shalt not post code fragments to Usenet" or some such. Forget, if you can, that it's silly to worry about this since the code is 3+ years old; try to ignore the fact that DEC probably did not modify man.c; check with your legal person to see what's allowed. -- Paul Vixie Work: vixie@decwrl.dec.com decwrl!vixie +1 415 853 6600 Play: paul@vixie.sf.ca.us vixie!paul +1 415 864 7013
