For example, I notice that a ChangeLog file is maintained in each gnu-emacs distribution subdirectory. Is there an emacs tool being used that maintains this file? If so, I'd be interested in getting a copy. Is RCS used for emacs version control? Gnu-emacs is released using a compressed tar distribution file or a compressed difference file.
