I'll send you working code by e-mail: I assume you grabbed one of the
corrupted versions that I (blush) put on the net.  The code works well.

I'll leave the latest version in tyhe file pub/calendar.el on
a.cs.uiuc.edu; it can be obtained by anonymous ftp.
