The TIFF file format was developed by Aldus Corporation and Microsoft
Corporation. I'd suggest contacting one of them and requesting the
standard TIFF documentation. The contact names on one of my documents are:
Tim Davenport at Aldus
Manny Vellon at Microsoft

Aldus is located in Seattle, Wa. and Microsoft is in Redmond, Wa.
The only phone number shown is one for Microsoft which is (206) 882-8080.
