Hi,
   One of our public LaserWriter+ printers has started giving an Offending
Command, invalid password whenever we try to print.  I'm assuming that somehow
the internal postscript password has been reset, although I don't know how
since a person printed three pages of a SuperPaint document, got two blank
pages, and then started getting that error, which hasn't gone away since.
I know that the password can be reset fairly easily with setpassword, but
I don't know the current password to do that.  I also couldn't figure out
enough postscript from the reference manual this afternoon to get a loop to
work since the printer generates a stop code whenever setpassword fails.  So,
I need a program (preferably tested, since I'm not a programmer and figuring
out programming languages is a hassle) which will loop through all the possible
passwords (which are up to three digit integers, I believe), find the incorrect
password, and set it to the default, zero.  As far as I've been able to discern
no one in Cornell Computer Services knows postscript and it's a little hard to
call information and ask to be connected with a Postscript programmer.  If all
else fails, snippets of code would be slightly helpful, but I would like a
real program so that when this happens again, we can use the program again.
