I'm a novice Elm 2.1 User...Can anyone help me on this?

When using Elm non-interactively (from a unix prompt) to send files,
I'm getting this error message:

variable `SAVEFILE' not defined!

I can't seem to find anything in the documentation about this variable.
I suspect it has something to do with a setting in my elmrc file??

Any help would be appreciated!
