I now realize that for unconnected sites (no SMTP or DNS) this is wrong and in fact, Len's method is better. Rathewr than #ifdef'ing it, can someone add a config-file option? And preferrably convince Len to buy back the change so I don't have to maintain hacked source? More and more I am convinced that sendmail is a solution in search of a problem. This is all too complex. -- Paul Vixie Work: vixie@decwrl.dec.com decwrl!vixie +1 415 853 6600 Play: paul@vixie.sf.ca.us vixie!paul +1 415 864 7013
