Lines: 15 A dirty trick I've heard ;-) can be done on your average line printer is to tear the paper, or rather have the printer tear its own paper. This works on printers where the tractors are past the hammers. Anyway, your print job advances the paper 10 lines or so, then prints underscores (or minuses) across the paper; all 132 columns. Overprint them several times to create a perforation. Then formfeed. The weak perforation rips, leaving half the paper in the printer and half nicely folded in the output basket. Most line printers today have a set of tractors below or at the hammers; darn, ya just can't have any fun anymore! ----------------- I'd rather die on K2 than I-5 ------------------------ Curt Charles | "Let our swords run red with the blood of curtc@pogo.GPID.TEK.COM | infidels..." -- Sean Connery
