Thanks to all who responded. From the information I have gathered so far, we will probably go with the Versatec 8500 (or similar model) with a Centronics parallel interface. (This is not 100% firm, as I am still gathering information from vendors at this time.) Now I have a few more questions from the net: Is there anyone out there with a parallel electrostatic plotter in a VAX/VMS UNIBUS system who has any significant war stories to tell? What Centronics-compatible ports are available for a unibus VAX and from what vendors (I know DEC sells one called a "Dataproducts port" or DMF-11)? About how much does one cost, including a device driver? How about multiple ports per board, or discounts for buying more than 1 board? Thanks in advance.
