We have 4 Fastpath-2's. Some have been running KIP 1/88 continuously for almost a year. When I originally installed our Phonenet, I erroneously put terminating resistors in all the boxes on the bus. (They only belong at the ends.) The effect was that some macs zone lists mysteriously appeared and disappeared. Incidentally, the marginal macs seemed to vary more by individual sensitivity to the problem, and less by position on the net. Maybe this is happening to you. Terminating our net properly fixed this problem. This is just a guess, but if your problem fixes itself when you turn the kbox off, maybe you have a heat problem. (As a non-truster of radiant cooling, I run my Fastpath-1's with their skins off in a machine room. I think this might also discourage theft...) --Christopher
