NCSA telnet doesn't have a device driver for 3COM 3c503, yet. Maybe someone will donate this version in the future. Any volunteers? Yes, it possible to telnet on localtalk on a TOPS board in a PC. We have tested the version from CMU/Havard/MIT. I am working on getting Stanford's version of localtalk module. One problem is the Kinetics board is slow (not enough memory and CPU). In other words, everytime an update of routing information (31 ethernet and 15 appletalk routes) is sent around to all our Kinetics boxes (15 at present) and Hayes Interbridges (15 units), you notice that your PC screen has stopped sending information for around 5 seconds. This happens every minute. Until I get a network sniffer for appletalk, I can only look at the ethernet side of the protocol. Any help will be appeciated.
