I am in the process of trying to modify some software that will transfer 
files on a Vax/VMS tape to a Sun via the tape drive.  I have the programs 
vmsbackup and vmstape and have had some success with them.  However, the 
people I'm doing this for want to write the files from a Sun to the tape in 
the Vax Backup format.  The vmsbackup program only reads.  Does anyone have 
recent  updates of these programs or alternatives that will do the job?
