can anyone provide some pointers to the various `bbs' systems that run
under unix?  i'm interested in finding out the specifics on the various
systems out there that might run on a sun 4 (running 4.0.1) ... both
commercial products as well as ones that are freely distributable are
fine.  basically i'm looking for systems that provide the standard bbs
features of sending & receiving messages, etc but in addition has the
capability of binary file downloading/uploading, potential hooks into
database systems and a `user friendly' interface.

any and all suggestions, comments are much appreciated.
