Does anyone know the current status of gnuplot?

There were some sources on the X11R2 tape that claimed to be 
gnuplot v1.1 but parts of the distribution are missing, in 
particular the IBM-PC graphics code.

The comp.sources.misc archives have the original net posting 
of gnuplot 1.0

Does anyone know of a later version of this software?
