I am taking a Digital Control of Dynamic Systems class this
semester and a control system analysis software package is
required.  I do not have access to the lab since I am taking
this class over a satellite.  The titles of the software listed
are:
Matrix X
Control C
Program CC
PC Matlab
Mac Matlab
Edu-Matlab

Are any of these public domain and if so how can I get one?

Are any available thru software houses, college bookstores, etc?

Please send email if you have any info on this.  I need it
quick because my first homework is due in a couple of weeks.
