You folks are awesome - you did it again........ I have several replies to my question of SCSI and/or DMA on the 2090A. The neat thing was that they ALL agreed. Some thought I was confused in what I was asking for (SCSI/DMA vs SCSI/ST-506) but the real confusion was in my lack of understanding the SCSI functions. I thought that SCSI controllers interfaced with the CPU to pass along data to/from the memory while DMA was was a controller environment that has direct channeling of data between the device/buffer and memory.
