If any one else was interested in ICON here is a summary
of responses:

ICON version 6.0 can be found on fish disk 81 (thanks Bernie Cosell)

ICON version 6.0 is the current version for the amiga with version
7 "on the way"  (thanks Ken Walker)

ICON distribution and mailing list can be found at:

megaron.arizona.edu (128.196.6.1)

There is a file -> icon/amiga/amiga7.arc that contains source
code but no binaries.  I believe this is the source being ported 
but since I do not have a compiler at the moment... (thanks Bill Kinnersley)


I want to thank the net for such a rapid response to my question on ICON.

Now if I couls just find out about VLT!
