Does the bridgecard specifically have to have the PC side connect
to operate???

specifially, is it possible to install the A2088 or A2286
in a card cage for the A1000 or A500 that doesn't have the
PC or PCAT side connectors, and run the bridgecard, but
not to utilize any PCside hardware????

IE: PC software compatibility, but no ability to utilize the PCside
hardware???

There is a manufacturer (Expansion Technologies) that states that
their cage will support such a mode of operation.

I'm understandibly curious as this would give me the PC compatibility
that i sort of need. its just that my understanding was that
the bridgecards needed the PC connectors for power, in addition
to enabling the PC slots in the A2000.
