Carlson) Distribution: na Organization: University of California at Berkeley Lines: 22 I've just pinned down something that's been bothering me about VT100. I'm running it in interlace (48 lines), with 2 bit planes; and I have a 2400 baud modem. Believe it or not, when the computer I'm connected to sends a continuous stream of characters, I lose control of the Amiga! No key presses or mouse movements are acknowledged. I have to wait either until the mainframe takes a short break, or I turn off the modem. (At that time, the keyboard and mouse events that have been stored up take effect.) Needless to say, this is very annoying. I am running VT100 V2.8 ACS 880117 (but the same thing happens in version 2.6). Has this problem been fixed in later versions of VT100? Has anyone else even run into this problem? Can it be easily fixed without seriously slowing things down? (moving some inner loop outside of Forbid/Permit, perchance?) Thanks for any ideas. -- Richard {tektronix,dual,sun,decvax,...}!ucbvax!ernie!carlson carlson@ernie.berkeley.edu
