Lines: 24 I have a couple problems with my Amiga 2000 and I'd like to bounce them off the net.experts before I go to a repair shop. My fan is intermittent. It comes on loudly then goes quietly (but still on) for a while. The alternating just doesn't seem normal. Recently my hard drive (a Seagate 251-1 w/GVP controller) loses power a lot. The electronics are all working (read requests make the light flash) but the motor isn't receiving any power. I have detached my hard drive and am running off floppies for the time being. I will get a chance to test the hard drive on another machine in a week or so. Are these related? Is it a common break-down for a p/s to start not giving power to certain things while giving it to others? I've checked all the connections and everything is plugged in right.
