In response to the "Famous Flamer" himself (i.e. Richard Sexton),

I had the same problem with the previous version of the Amiga uucp mail
command.  I finally isolated it to an input error (mine.)  Whenever I
accidently forgot to type in the nodename of the destination, it would
guru upon completion of the .signature.

     Examples:

                (WRONG!!!)   mail user

                (Ok)         mail nodename!user

I don't know if the current version still does this because I haven't tried
it yet.
