Has any one tried this combination of software? What is the difference between XGKS and Domain/GKS? I guess what I'm really getting at is will software written with Domain/GKS,X run on say a Sun, or even another Apollo, running MIT's X windows and XGKS from another vendor? What about Domain/PHIGS and Domain/X? Would this be similar to XPHIGS (if there is such a thing)? Does any one know how similar the Domain/PHIGS,X combination would be compared to what is being considered for the PEX standard?
