Thomas,
   There was a company at one time out on the left coast that was doing such a
thing.  I believe it was Perlin electronics.  However, from what I hear, they
are VERY unreliable.  If you want to use an IBM-compatible drive with an
Apple, I recommend looking at a SCSI drive and Apple's SCSI controller.
