You can take the sound output from the back of the laser or IIc's video expansion port and pipe it into your monitor with a single piece of wire. The tonal response to different frequencies using this method is great. On a Laser just run a wire from hole 5 to the core (RCA jack assumed) of the sound input on your monitor.
