I remember having TeXed and printed the Gulam manual without any problems more
than a year ago. You can get texinfo.tex and related stuff via anonymous ftp from
science.utah.edu (128.110.192.2) in the directory
aps:<tex.pub.gnu>
It is not new (Aug-86), though.
