At $50 a pop to replace the chip, I'm approaching the cost of a new machine. Does anyone out there know of some code, perhaps assembly language, which could be used to make the games which read from the joystick in port 2 read from port 1 instead. I was thinking of maybe changing a kernel vector address so that the program still looks at the same slot of the vector, but the address is now pointing to port 1.
